Shortly after midnight on Monday morning, September 28th, my husband called the ambulance as he found me to be unresponsive in our bed, due to type 1 diabetes low blood sugar. I was completely unaware, and only recall the paramedic calling my name post glucagon provision. My husband and I are pretty darn grateful, and thank you so very much!

I’m so incredibly grateful to the three Paramedics who came to our home on Sept. 25 and took my son to the Stollery. They were so kind, gentle and caring, and truly advocated for him. They stayed with him until he got a room. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’ll never forget their kindness.

Big thanks to the 3 Paramedics who helped when I had a kneecap dislocation. Parand provided emotional support and was able to make me laugh through pain. Jordan explained everything thoroughly and maintained patient dignity by putting a blanket over me. And Jonas' calm demeanor made me feel completely safe. On September 4, 2026, I called into EMS for a horrible pain in my head. The paramedic, Crystal, was so sweet to me while I was so scared. The two paramedics that came to my house went far above and beyond the call of duty and took immensely good care of me and treated me with the level of humanity that I will never forget. On Aug 15 my mom went into sudden, life-threatening anaphylaxis. She was able to call 911 moments before losing consciousness and Paramedics Mel, Hadjer, Danny and Jeff came to her aid. Their rapid assessment, treatment and management were exceptional, and undoubtedly saved her life. Our family is profoundly grateful for the care she received.
