Before my husband passed i think it was either 3 or 4 times I had to call for help. The first time I was scared stiff but I learned that the people coming were there, not to judge, but to help. Each time my husband had excellent care and I was given the utmost respect and caring also. I am so grateful for their dedication, kindness and help.

As a more recently graduated RN working in a rural community, having EMS available not only benefits the community but their presence is greatly appreciated by myself and other HCPs. The EMS staff in Milk River are nothing short of heroes, really. They've rescued me many times by being there to help and giving guidance when I needed it. Thank you!!

Thank you Victor and partner for all that you take on to do your job. It must be very hard to deal with death and not have it affect you. I am sure the memories must stay with you long after you have finished your shift and go home to your family. Thank you for having the strength and courage to do your job. Take care of yourself.

I've had to be in ambulances many times in the course of my life, due to seizures and my Hydrocephalus. I just want to say thank you to all the paramedics that haven taken care of me from keeping me calm and reassuring me I'd be alright, to getting me to the hospital safely, and staying with me until there was a bed for me. Thank you!!!

I recently had a very negative drug side effect that required I call 911. The EMS folks who attended were jovial and confident... exactly what I needed when dealing with a very stressful situation. They explained what was going on and helped calm me down. I felt very cared for at a time when I needed that most. Also, thanks for the ride )

I want to thank all paramedics for the service they provide. (Not sure of the date that I called some time early summer 2013) A special thank you to the two that came to help me when a small vein on my ankle burst and I couldn't get it to stop bleeding, then they had to wait till my blood pressure came down. Such a nice team THANK YOU!!

On Nov 3, 2013 we had a terrible accident on Symons Valley. Our whole family of 5 were in the vehicle. Just wanted to send a HUGE thank you to the emergency team, jaws of life and everyone who pulled over to offer help. There cannot offer enough thanks! We only wish we got the names of those who helped and the names of the EMSEMT's. THANK YOU!

Thank you for not only providing great care, but for also making personal sacrifice to do so. Thank you for taking time away from your families on holidaysweekendsevenings to take care of other peoples families. Thank you for working night shifts when so many others are sleeping soundly in their beds.

Thanks so much to the team that transported my son after a severe hockey injury. Your grace and professionalism helped him to stay calm in a stressful situation, but it was your humour that truly helped joking that his smelly hockey equipment wouldn't be nearly the worse thing you smelt that night. For all you do (and smell) thank you!

I would love to say thank you to the paramedics who responded to the car accident that my son, myself and my boyfriend were in 5 years ago. My boyfriend was tragically and devestatingly killed in the accident. They took such good care of me as I was injured quite badly. They showed such compassion during and after 3

I want to thank the paramedics that looked after me in 2010 when I crashed on my bicycle. They took me to Foothills trauma with a broken arm and thankfully nothing else. I don't know what I would have done without you!

We should all be SO grateful for the amazing service the EMS team provide every day. They certainly saved me, and I think that survivors should meet with the team on the anniversary of the DAY, to give thanks. Both my husband and I have met with Station 3 for donuts and commaraderie. Thank you Lethbridge for running such a fine EMS service. Jenny
