Back in February 2014 our special needs daughter Pam got very sick and we had Paramedics attend our home, she was transported 3 times from February to March. Sadly she passed away on April 8th. We wanted to say thank you to the crews who attended and did their best. Pam seemed to trust the paramedics. Thank you for your service.

Thank you to the team that came out on September long weekend to help my father in law. He had a seizure and we didn't know what to do. Thanks to the 911 operator who kept everything calm and could help us. It was a stressful experience but everyone was so helpful.

For an organization whose morale is said to be poor I have found paramedics to be unfailingly competent, caring and courteous. However, it is a pity they (and their ambulances) are required to sit around often for several hours outside emergency departments while the patient is waiting to be admitted. There should be an intermediate step.

Thank you so much for the countless times you helped my mother. To the dispatchers aswell. You saved my mother many times and always kept your cool while doing it. I work with EMTS daily and I can't appreciate it enough. She wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you guys.

I work as an EMR in a very busy industrial setting, and I want to say thanks to everyone! All scopes, all practises, I never have my doubts when I do an intercept with anyone in the province. We are all hero's, no matter what our scope, and remember that at all times!

Thanks you so much for all you do! I remember having my husband call due to chest pains 10 years ago and was grateful that he did once EMS came. That was twice in one year pneumothorax at home and at work. Having them there helped keep me calm through a scary time.

To all of you that come to my place and helped me through the toughest times in my life. I'd like to thank you all for being there when needed the most. Your help is always greatly appreciated by those that can't do things for themselves and need the help. Thank you so much.

Hello, this Thank You(!!!) goes out to the two medics that rescued me from the Calgary airport staff on the evening of September 9th. Without them I would have been stranded ill in Calgary during a snowstorm. They not only took care of my medical needs they went out of their way with amazing compassion and professionalism. I am forever grateful )

In 2007 and 2009, I went into labour earlier than expected. I was taken by EMS from Camrose to the Royal Alexandria Hospital and Misericordia Hospital, respectively. We had a baby girl on each of these occasions and they have grown into happy, healthy seven and five year olds! Thanks to the EMS team for the great care I received!

A few years ago my mum fell on the ice and split her head open. It was pretty scary but I remember as soon as the EMS guys showed up they made my mum super comfy in the ambulance and even cracked a few jokes (which she still talks about today).
Thank you so much for everything you do for us here in Calgary. You're all fantastic!

I am thankful for all that you do when you come to work everyday, but lastnight you let my Dad call home with your cellphone to let my Mom know where he was going to be, and that small act of kindness made me want to Thank you even more! To all EMTs Thank you for all that you do!

I was forced to call 911 as I was all alone and was in excruciating pain.My EMS team arrived quickly with nurturing care. They worked on slowing my breathing and controlling my pain to the best of their ability until I could be seen by an ER doctor. They stayed with me and were so kind when I needed it most. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I have just passed one year since my accident where I was hit by a school bus while I was cycling to work. I don't remember any of your faces but I remember strong, caring hands that transferred me to a stretcher and took me to hospital. Thank you for being a part of the caring health professionals that I encountered along the way!

My wife and son were involved in an auto accident which resulted in both of them being treated and transported to the University Hospital.
The medics who arrived on scene were absolutely brilliant! If these two could be cloned, we would always have a perfect EMS road crew. Thank you so very much!

Thanks very much to both of you that assisted my wife Nicole last evening. Nicole was in a lot of pain and both of your friendly demeanour and professionalism served to reassure both of us and keep Nicole in good spirits. We will never forget your exceptional service last evening. Thank you for the work that you do and for caring for your clients.

To the paramedics that were working on the night of July 16, 2014 around 1030pm. Thank you so much for your help and support. I wouldn't have been able to stay strong for as long as I have without you. Thinking of your care has kept me going until now.

We had to call for an athlete who had a bike crash during a race. The Fire, and quick response team arrived very quickly, and assessed. The ambulance showed up minutes later and transported the athlete to hospital. All super professional no time wasted. Thanks!

There's an angel amongst you. With too may visits to emergency in recent years I've noticed the kindhearted people who make up EMS in Edmonton. One lady stands out, maybe because she's easy to recognize. I've never learned her name but she keeps her hair really short. She treats everyone with such respect, as if they're her own family. God bless.
