Id like to thank 2 younger gentlemen from Spruce Grove I think Chris and Mike (?). They took me to the MIS for excessive vomiting and they made the trip and wait quite fun considering the circumstances. Id also like to say sorry if they ended up with Norwalk considering that's what i ended up having.

I slipped on ice and landed on my left arm, braking it. Without EMS I don't know how I would have got up from the ground! They had a good sense of humor and made sure to use it appropriately to keep me distracted and uplifted. I asked lots of questions and they patiently answered all of them. I was really impressed with them. Very grateful!

Waking to a baby having a seizure is terrifying. Within minutes of calling 911 we had five EMS staff in our living room, providing our baby boy with the best care, all while keeping mom and dad calm. Thanks to all for being professional, compassionate and caring!

To Chris and Mike, Spruce Grove, my sister was extremely impressed over your care and treatment of our mother when you were called in to Falconer Court (Edmonton) today. My sister's words "You were awesome". Your patient, my mother, is still doing okay.

They are the unsung heroes who perform lifesaving miracles everyday! They keep focused on the job they have to do and never ask for anything in return. My deepest respect to all paramedics and EMT's and first responders. You see things on the job that would make someone else uneasy but you tackle it with a high level of professionalism! Thanks

I needed to get to hospital while staying in a downtown Calgary hotel. My wife and son were in a panic, as I had very unusual symptoms (that turned out to be benign.) But the paramedics calmed us all down and took control of the situation. Thanks so much for your assistance during a distressing few hours.

In November 2011 after speaking with HealthLink and being advised to call 911, I did. Within moments I had a crew of EMTs in my living room. They informed me that I was having a heart attack and took me directly to the Cardiac Cath Lab at RAH. You guys literally saved my life, so from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for all you do.

I would like to express my thanks for all the hard work EMS crews do. I am a Respiratory Therapist in ER, and see them daily. Almost always, they are working hard and giving great care. In the ER, EMS brings them to our house. But what we don't see is that they are always in the patients "house" first. Thanks guys and girls!

My husband and some of my best friends are paramedics. It is their calling rather than their job. I am grateful for their strength and dedication to help those in need. Thank you!

Thank you to all the medics and EMT's that work day in and day out to keep this city alive. Pun intended.
People don't realize the multitude of calls you attend every year. Not all of them end the way you'd hoped but its the good calls that keep bringing you to work with a smile on your face.

I would like to thank my paramedics, I don't remember much, but from what I do remember you guys were so wonderful and helping me out so much. I was super scared, so you held my hand and made me feel safe. Thank you so much, and thank you to all other paramedics for saving lives every second of every day. Not all super heroes were capes! Xo

Before my husband passed i think it was either 3 or 4 times I had to call for help. The first time I was scared stiff but I learned that the people coming were there, not to judge, but to help. Each time my husband had excellent care and I was given the utmost respect and caring also. I am so grateful for their dedication, kindness and help.

As a more recently graduated RN working in a rural community, having EMS available not only benefits the community but their presence is greatly appreciated by myself and other HCPs. The EMS staff in Milk River are nothing short of heroes, really. They've rescued me many times by being there to help and giving guidance when I needed it. Thank you!!
