I want to thank the paramedics I have come into contact over the years. You are there when we are in crisis, you help so much and make us feel safe. We sometimes aren't even conscious you are there and I realize you never hear my silent thank you when it's over. Just know...I wanted you to know. Thank you!

I would like to thank a paramedic by the name of Sarah who helped my senior mother out at the Foothills Hospital My mom had broken her arm and we were standing in line when out of nowhere Sarah brought us a wheelchair. My mom and I greatly appreciated her consideration and kindness there were numerous others in the area but she took the time to.

He also explained some things about her condition to my daughter and I, he was AMAZING!! We're so thankful for him and his help!!!

My most sincere thank yous to the first responders after my skiing accident (Nakiska). Thank you for everything you did for me that day. I was transferred to the Foothills Trauma Centre for treatment. I have fully recovered from my injuries with only the incision scar as a kind reminder of what could have been much worst. Thank you!

Three of you arrived within a few short minutes, my boyfriend said, and again within a few short moments, I was fully conscious and you were able to leave. Moving out for the first time was a learning experience for me and my diabetes. Thank you for saving my life and keeping my boyfriend calm in such a frightening time.

I was in a car accident resulting in severe injury. Without the help of paramedics and Stars air ambulance I would not have survived. The accident caused a traumatic brain injury leaving me unable to breathe

On March 20, 2014, I woke up and found the whole room spinning around, Horrible vertigo, and vomitting. Been a nurse myself I wasn't sure if it was an inner ear infection or a stroke. I called EMS and they arrived very shortly. They were very friendly and helpful and took me immediatley to the hospital. I was very grateful for there help.

EMS recommended that I come with them for additional testing. I couldn't get ahold of my husband, so they took me to pick my son up from school on the way to the hospital. That's putting the patient first thank you!

Thank you for all that you do. I think almost everyone is impacted by your work somehow and it is so valued and appreciated. Your dedication to caring for others, at time sacrificing your own personal wellbeing or dealing with the serious toll it takes, is commendable. Thank you!

When dad was diagnosed with cancer we had to call Spirit River EMS three times before his final trip to the hospital. We were blessed that Ron and Andrea were the paramedics each time, and their professionalism and understanding lifted all our spirits during the most stressful time in our lives. Our community is privileged to have this EMS team!

I heard my mom fall and by her slurred response knew she was in trouble. As I called 911 my heart was crumbling. EMS was very quick to respond, refocused me, and mom had already had a CT scan by the time I got to the hospital. Due to EMS and their incredible knowledge my mom's TIA has left no damage! THANK YOU isn't enough!! God bless you.

I'm a nurse that works the Alex ER on the Mental Health team. We interact with EMS daily. Our clients are often some of the sickest and most difficult. Thank you to EMS staff who treat our clients with such great dignity and respect despite that and show such great patience and understanding. We so greatly appreciate all that you do for them!

To Scott Wierenga, paramedic I am able to write this because Scott saved my life nearly two years ago. Thank you Scott! On August 8, 2012 I experienced symptoms of a heart attack. I went into a St. Albert business and asked for an ambulance. Scott appeared and I "passed out" and fell to the floor. He used CPR to revive me twice. I am alive!

My mother was saved by a Lethbridge paramedic team in August last year. She followed up with them months later when fully back on her feet which seemed great for both parties. My Dad even had a spell with paramedics about a month ago, but thankfully it turned out to be not so serious. Thanks for being there!
