Never a day goes by that I don't see an ambulance on the road and think, get out of their way they are saving lives.. Driving in bad road conditions and storms to save a life of someone that risked going out even when the police said "stay ff the roads". Rural ambulance are even more important, we don't have other choices. you are our lifeline!

What can I say? You came countless times to the aid of my Dad (a brittle diabetic), and sat with Mum until my husband arrived on THAT night, even though you didn't have to. You arrived for my Mum's last ride the next year. Your professionalism and care during two of the most difficult days in our family's life will not be forgotten.

I hit black ice on the highway and rolled 4 times. I woke up in the emergency room. I am blessed to be alive today. I am starting to recall some stuff now

I cannot imagine living without the first responders, the ones we call on when the unimaginable strikes and puts us or our loved ones in need of urgent skilled care. I am grateful for you, I honour you, I respect you, you make my world better. Even though I hope I never need to call you, I will never cease to be grateful for knowing I can.

My car accident occured in the summer 1998, and since then I've had many doctors, physical, speech, recreational therapists help me with my recovery, but I never had the chance to thank the paramedics that rescued me and brought me to the best hospital in the city to be rescued. From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my thanks, you angels.

Twice in one month we had to call EMS to take me to the hospital due to allergic reaction(redwater), then 2 weeks later in Canmore where I passed out from low blood pressure. Both times the paramedics were thorough, professional, and still extremely kind and caring. Thank you so much. Your job is a very difficult one. You are appreciated.

My husband had a cardiac arrest, I didn't hear him fall, my dog barked and I saw him, no breathing and no heart beat I started CPR, called 911 they were at our front door in 4 minutes. All the stars were aligned and he came back to us. We have our life back. Words will never be enough to say thank you

EMS you rock!! I fell down 4 steps putting my outside shoes on after work around 4ish. Boy did I land hard. Well the three ladies that showed up were the best. Just moving a bit sent pain and nausea waves, out comes the haha gas and they lifted me with the help of this giant yellow clip. Thnks Ladies.

Ten years ago I was at a community centre with friends and collapsed. It's all kind of a blur for me, but my husband tells me the paramedics arrived quickly, were professional and compassionate, and took great care of me as a patient and him as a worried spouse.
Thank you, whomever you are! You helped us both at a difficult and scary time. xo

Just want to say thanks to the paramedics that came Jasper Place Continuing Care centre last Friday. I had eaten a dip that was made with peanut butter and didn't have my epi pen on me. They made me very comfortable and reassured me that everything was going to be fine. Once again, thank you

I can't remember the name of the gentlemen paramedic (I'm so sorry I was in panic mode when you introduced yourself), but him and his partner Nicole were wonderful. They kept me calm (very difficult task due to my crazy anxiety) and I felt like I was safe in their hands. Thank you both so much!!!! You are amazing people! xo

To Mike and his crew who helped me when I was feeling so rotten, and to be honest, scared, I would like to say thanks. You were there when I needed you, knew exactly what to do, made sure I had everything I needed and stayed with me until they found room for me. You have the perfect blend of expertise and humour to help put your patient at ease.

Last May I was severely depressed, and my father called 911 when I wouldn't answer the phone. I had attempted to take my life with a mix of pills, but I remember one young EMT, a student I believe, comforting me, and being very caring and compassionate. They have not only the skills to save a life, but also the ability to listen. Thank you.
