Ten years ago someone saved my life. While I was in the ambulance they told me to keep my eyes open, held my hand, and told me everything was going to be okay. Whoever that person was, saved my life. I wish I knew how to find him so I could personally thank him.

Thank you Tammy and Natasha for taking such good care of my daughter, Emily, during a very scary time. You also helped calm me and my 5year old daughter down and explained everything you were doing and what was going to happen. You are extraordinary women and went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you for your empathy, proficiency

What started as a relaxing ride into Edmonton on July 12 2015 soon turned into the most frightening day I've ever had. The rear axle of my trike broke and sent me at highway speed crashing into a barbed wire fence. The EMS team from Alberta Beach were awesome! Thank you for helping to save my life.

Thank you for doing what you do. Your job is definitely exhausting both emotionally and physically and I just want you to know how much you guys mean to the community. I have been very fortunate in my life as to not need your services but have admired the work that you do, it takes a lot to be the first on scene. Thank you for everything.

I started having seizures in April and since have needed Paramedics 6 times, once I had even split my scalp open. Every time the Paramedics were focused on my well being and all seemed genuinely happy once I left my post ictal state and was self sufficient before we reached the ER. Thanks to ALL of them!

On September 5 2015, I went into labour around 2 am. We called 911. The EMS team (Michelle and Blair) and the firefighters who responded quickly realized that I would have to deliver at home. They were wonderfully competent, not only caring for me, but also my 2year old daughter and my husband. Thank you for bringing baby Laura into the world!!

Without exception they were all wonderful, wonderful people during a frightening and dark time. Those who rushed her to the Grey Nuns and those who transported her many times to the Cross, from the bottom of my heartthankyou!

Thank you to the EMS team who cared for my mother. It was so early in the morning and the team was calm, caring and so professional. My Mom said she knew she was in good hands and felt confident in the care they were providing. We are thankful for all that you did that morning.

I wrote a previous note to Shayna and Andrew, but it just left the screen...just wanted to say thanks to all for such great service when I fell and could not get up (post polio syndrome). Very personable, and caring now and with info for perhaps future help so I don't fall again. Beryl Onalee Oakes

The lovely ladies that picked me up from the Stampede Barns on July 4th at about 1645 were so courteous, had a great sense of humour and took great care of me. I know one was Candace (who had an unfortunate incident with the sole of her boot) and I should recall the other lady's name and don't. Thanks for taking care of my hail beaten eye ball!

On June 20th a team came to my aunts house in the Castleridge community. My uncle Dennis Tanner had collapsed, his heart stopped and you tried your best and more to save him. We knew he was gone and I think you did too but you still tried. We just wanted to thank you for doing everything you could. Dennis Tanner is pain free.

You guys were so friendly and helpful! I had had a stroke, so it seemed like I was watching a dream. When you couldn't get the stretcher into my bedroom, you had to call a fireman to carry me out. I was frustrated when I had a seizure in the ambulance, but you got me through it. I tried to find out your names, but in lieu of that, THANK YOU!

On September 18 2007, just past Gibbons, Alberta, our minivan had a run in with a moose. The moose crushed my face and I needed 11 face plates to piece me back together! I don't know who you are but I survived and I wanted you to know that you saved my life!! The doctor said it is rare to survive a moose accident and I was lucky. Thank you. Xoxo

Just want to give a shout out to all ParamedicsEMT's. They truly are the unsung heroes. They work hard, put in long hours due to unforeseen circumstance beyond their control. They have compassion for those left in their care. It takes a certain type of person to do what they do on any given day. Thanks to all of you.
