I need to thank John and Jaz of Beaverlodge EMS for helping me through the most difficult night of my life. They showed such care and compassion during my miscarriage,they made an absolutely horrible situation bearable because of their dedication to helping others, and I will never forget it. I've sent a letter much longer than 350 words to AHS.

Thank you to the two Didsbury EMTs (Two females) who helped me in Airdrie go to urgent care. You were the only positive experience during the night but you really made a difference and I'm sorry for all of the bad jokes!

Thank you so much to Matt and Nolan who were amazing! I had slipped on the ice on the way to work (around 1845) out of the kindness in their hearts they pulled over to help. I work as a registered nurse at the RAH so they could've just wheeled me and dropped me off, but they stayed the whole time to make sure I was comfortable. Thank you!!!

On Dec 22, I broke my knee cap and called an ambulance. Two paramedics arrived a young lady and a young man. You two were so kind and understanding. Please be proud of yourself, both in service and representing AHS. My experience with you two was so warming. With appreciation, Pat

I'd like to thank Oliver and Andy, who attended to me at Shaganappi golf course XC. I could not have asked for better first responders they did an excellent job keeping me calm and informed through the entire ordeal and got me to FMC safely despite logistical challenges. Thank you to those paramedics who, during this difficult pandemic, did their job and remained professional, yet compassionate. RE Paramedics Colin and Grant: In the early morning hours of December 16 these two paramedics came to help us with my husband's elderly mother. Paramedics Tristan and Alex came on the coldest night of the year. My husband has had a rough year battling cancer and, during the night he woke sweating and was incoherent. Tristan and Alex brought calm confidence which was just what I needed. While one of them got my husband settled in the ambulance, the other shovelled our walks. So grateful 🙏🏻

Hello. After a tumble on my bicycle early on September 30, I had two ambulance rides to hospitals in Edmonton. Both EMS teams were wonderful patient, kind, and caring, truly extraordinary people. Ten weeks later I'm still grateful, appreciative, impressed, and awestruck. I hope you have a restful festive season and stay well. Janet

NOV1221 I had just flown into YEG from YVR. I was in serious discomfort by the time I gave in to calling 911. EMS was quick to the scene and very patient and sympathetic!!! In addition when the assessment was made that I needed surgery at a different hospital I was transferred with great care. Not enough space to convey my gratitude!!! Thank u!

Thank you Sparky for your exceptional service and compassion when you came to help Tom. It was a big job and you had to take a hospital bed apart to move the bed into the living room by our Christmas Tree. Moving Tom from his king size bed to the hospital bed was a giant task. Again you were exceptional. Thank you

I wanted to thank the paramedics who attended my house in the a.m. of Monday, November 15. I had to call the paramedics at midnight on the 14 and they took me to the Calgary Peter Lougheed hospital. I was having excruciating back spasm pain that I have never felt since I had my daughter in 1993 and they were very patient and kind with me

One year ago, on 16 Nov. 2020, I suffered cardiac arrest in Downtown Edmonton, but paramedics saved my life. I didn't really get to meet them, as I was unconscious, but this seems like a fitting time to say that thanks to them, I am doing well. I will always be grateful!

On the morning of November 2, 2021 we received care for a resident at a permanent supportive care facility from EMS unit number 203. The team of EMS was two women who treated the resident that was under a form 1 with such dignity and compassion that it was remarkable. We wanted to send a note to thank them for their professionalism and skill.

On the morning of Nov 3 my husband's heart stopped. The team that arrived 5 minutes after my call arrived and worked liked champions to pump life back into the love of my life.
