A heartfelt thank you to medic 305 with Ruth, Gregory, and their student, Kendra. On September 15, 2022 my mother had a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest. I would like to thank my paramedics who came quickly to save me when I had a seizure. You comforted my husband, you made sure I was fine. You also stayed with me when my seizure turned into a stroke. Thank you very much. You saved me but also saved my husband from going into emotional shock.

On May 9th, 2018 paramedics responded to an apartment on Bonaventure Dr where my sister was found unresponsive. Unfortunately this doesn't have a positive outcome but the care the paramedics gave my sister that day is beyond what I can thank for, they gave us the opportunity to say goodbye 2 days later at the RGH ICU. Thank you!

Thank you to the Camrose Paramedics who got my grandpa safely from Bashaw to Red Deer. Another thanks to the Red Deer Paramedics for getting him safely to Edmonton and back for treatment ❤️

They were friendly and really went beyond helping me to my trip to the Royal Alex. Always seeing if I was comfortable or needed anything. On 12 October 2022, I fell down the stairs and hurt my right foot. Paramedics, Kevin and Candace, responded promptly and attended to me, and I was able to fly back to Burnaby, BC that very day. I would like to put on record that I was impressed with Kevin's and Candace's professionalism, courtesy and kindness. Thank you!

I want to write a special thank you and appreciation to a specific paramedic. My family and I would like him to know how appreciative we are. As a parent with two children with one on the Autism Spectrum you put my mind at ease during a time that was very scary for me. You really went above and beyond and cared for my kids.

Thank you for taking such care and time with my mother. EMS were very patient with my 86 year old mom who didn't want to go to emergency. They took the time to explain things and put her at ease so she could make a proper decision with her health. Thank you very much!

My mom tripped on an outdoor step, fractured her knee, was in extreme pain and could not move. The EMS crew was professional and caring which gave us anxiety relief and reassurance. I was thoroughly impressed. Thank you for all you do and the wonderful care provided to my mom.

Thanks to Harrison and his colleague. They came out to assess my mum and although she didn't need transport, they were supportive of me as a caregiver and helped with some brainstorming. It was very much appreciated. Thank you!

First, two dedicated members of the Calgary fire department responded, immediately followed by two great paramedics HEATHER and PAIGE, obviously skilled and professional, also friendly and reassuring. I knew I was in very good hands from the time they arrived at our condo until they turned me over to Rockyview Emerg...wonderful care..thank you!

I had two outstanding EMT teams, one team took me from Airdrie to Didsbury (Glenn and Dell) and one team that took me from Didsbury to Calgary (two women, I truly apologize that I didn't get their names, I was in significant pain). Both teams treated me with such professionalism along with kindness and care.

On Thursday September 29, I had an emergency in SW Calgary. Tests run enroute to the hospital by the paramedics from Nanton showed that I was potentially having a heart attack, so we were redirected to Foothills to receive important life changing care. I don't remember the paramedics names but I am so very grateful to them. Please thank them.

Sept 1122 I was having major chest pains and I received ambulatory care from Jeremy, Miranda and Tobi and they were AMAZING! Miranda and Tobi stayed with me at RGH for hours before a bed was available and took better care of me than the doctor on call. Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for all you did when my little sister had to called for an ambulance on September 27th. You took care of my mom and let my sister know where she will be and told her my mom was okay. Thanks again!

I wanted to thank the paramedics that responded on the night of 16th June early morning of the 17 June around 12am. My mother was unconscious and not breathing. I never got to say thank you that night for your care

Shoutout to Andy and Jeremy who came from Calgary to Didsbury Hosp on Tues, Sept 20 to pick up my 8yrold son, Derrick, who was having trouble breathing. They were so upbeat and friendly, they put us at ease right away. Andy chatted with Derrick on the ride to Children's to keep him calm. We can't thank them enough for the excellent care. Ayesha
