One of your incredible teams responded March 25th to my pick-up truck on the side of Stoney Trail. I was having heart problems and was admitted with dangerously low potassium and phosphate levels. Having heart surgery tomorrow.
Still trying to process things and could never thank her and her partner enough. True professionals

Thanks to the 2 paramedics who came quickly to my aid when I severely lacerated my finger on March 24.They kept me calm while one tried to stop the bleeding. They took me to urgent care at the Chumir Centre where I got five stitches a few hours after. It was my first ambulance ride as first stitches in 76 years!

Wednesday I had the scariest moment of my life and as a mother.
I watched my baby fall down some stairs while we were getting ready for bed. After calling 9-1-1, three of the most kind paramedics came to my door. These women were great with assessing my baby, assuring me all was good and I can't thank them enough for how they helped us that night.

Dear paramedics,
You responded to a Carewest facility call, on 3 March '23 for my Mum, who passed away while in your gentle care. One of you was male, the other female.
Not only did you show complete professionalism, but the beautiful female showed compassion as she stayed with my ill Dad, and me.
With gratitude,
A grateful family

Thank you to Kyle and Kenzie: you called yourselves the dream team. We debated whether or not I was having a P.E. I wish I could find you guys to say, "guess what? --it was a bilateral P.E.!" 14 hours later I couldn't breathe at all. But it began with the dream team assessing me carefully, taking it seriously, and not wanting to throw me in the waiting room. Thank you!

Thank you to the first responders who arrived so quickly at the scene and worked on my dad for so long. There is likely nothing that could have been done to save him but our family is forever grateful how hard you tried.

My husband was taken to UAH for very high blood pressure following a bad nosebleed. We are very grateful to Dani and Steven, his ambulance attendants, for their care through the nearly 7 hours that followed to Sheldon and Emily, who took over from them, and to Justin, who was able to start an IV when 4 others had been unable to do so.

It happened so fast. On December 24, 2022, the following paramedics came to our home. My husband was disoriented and complaining of abdominal pain. They provided excellent care and showed enormous empathy toward us. Thank you Jason, Chris, Sheldon, and Darcy. My husband was taken to the U of A to get more help.

I wanted to thank the trio of paramedics that came to help my daughter when she badly broke her arm at a play place on Wednesday morning. Ryan, Christina and another amazing woman (sorry to have forgotten your name) came to help us. They were gentle, kind and patient with my daughter and I. Thank you for everything. She loves her Medic Moose.

I have had a lot of contact with paramedics as a result of my mental illness. In February 2023 I had contact with Edmonton EMS Supervisor, Tracy, at the U of A. My interaction with her has motivated me to do everything possible to change my life for the better. Thank you!

I'm writing this to say thank you to the paramedics that saved my life in March, 2017, after I tried to harm myself. I still hear your voice every day when you were trying to wake me. You've been on my mind since March of 2017 when I woke up in the ICU. I wish I could have known who you were. Thank you for your quick response times. Thank you!

My father's wife recently fell in her home. EMS was called, I arrived as paramedics were reviewing the case with my father. Huge thanks to the paramedics who understood the situation (she has advanced Alzheimer's) and took her into hospital despite a lack of injury. She is now in good hands, soon to be moved to a facility with the care she needs.

Our program Calgary Kids Montessori Academy Ltd. would like to send a huge Thank You to the wonderful paramedics who came onsite on February 3rd around noon. They not only helped the teacher who fainted but also let the kids have the paramedics stuffed animals as a present to each child individually and let the kids have a tour of the ambulance.

Words are scarcely enough to say thanks for the amazing care given to my mother Ethel, when we called 911. The two 9-1-1 responders were thorough and specific, and the three paramedics responded with concern, care and a compassionate attitude. They were methodical and knowledgeable and set all of us at ease. Thanks to everyone. We are so grateful!
