I am writing to sincerely thank an EMS team (Brent and Cole) who responded to a palliative patient calling for shortness of breath who remained in the home with her until they could convince her to go to ER for assessment. I am truly grateful for their efforts on her behalf. Thank you.

I am writing to thank Peter and his colleagues. Peter responded to a call for transport to hospital for a palliative patient who was confused, living alone and incontinent of stool. He and his team members were amazing, truly compassionate, and Peter was wonderful to work with, a very compassionate and caring health professional.

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the care and compassion you showed me on a very frightening day. From the first responder to the ambulance crew, you were exactly what I needed. Thank you for the AWESOME EMS crew that came out to help UPHC with a new palliative client to manage symptoms. They were so kind and compassionate and patient. They met the patient where she was at and made her feel heard and comfortable.

I called 911 yesterday morning. I was moved, impressed by the swift, gentle and caring attitudes and actions of the fire department and ambulance first responders. Never, did I feel inferior, judged or demoralized. Chantelle, please, deserves beyond kudos. Her caring, respectable, honest, going beyond her required duties was of utmost impressive.

I called 911 for an ambulance in Calgary. Moe, a male paramedic was outstanding with respect to getting me into the ambulance with the least amount of pain. My apologies I don’t remember the name of his lovely female partner who was equally generous and kind throughout my experience!

I'd like to thank a team of two female paramedics and 4 firemen who came to help me. I had been stung and went into anaphylactic shock; they saved my life. I have a great appreciation for people like this who work in this field, more so now, thank you Meghan and Amy. Additional thanks to the fire crew for tending to my dog Manny.

Regan and Victoria were amazing. My mum is a stroke patient and had a terrible fall down the stairs at home on 830 am on the July 15th and they responded fast. They are an amazing team and work well together and acted very fast and got my mum to the hospital as fast as possible and monitored her throughout. I am very appreciative for there care.

Amazing work by the wainwright EMS team to make me feel comfortable and calm in a very scary, unpredictable time. They went above and beyond to ensure I was safe before they left me in a new hospital.

Want to express my thanks to all the hard working staff that answer the call when citizens require ambulance service. I often need to call due to AFib and so appreciate the care and attention provided. Thank you all for your dedicated service. I fully appreciate that I am not treated like a nuisance and am treated with thoughtful complete care.

January 3, 2024 paramedics rushed me to Foothills when my husband found me disoriented after several days of what we thought was a migraine. Turns out it was an enormous blood clot in my brain. Thank you! Everything is 100 now.

Huge thanks to paramedics Jori and Andy of Canmore. I fainted while watching the Canada Day Canmore Parade. Someone called 911 and within minutes the paramedics, Jori and Andy, were there. They were friendly, attentive, and comforting. They made sure that I drank plenty of fluids (water and fruit juice), which made me feel better.

I hope this thankyou note finds its way to the two paramedics from Nanton EMS that came to my rescue on highway 533 last Tuesday July 1,2025 and took me to Calgary South Campus Hospital. I was hit by road debris while riding my motorcycle. I ended up with four broken metatarsal bones. You guys are fantastic and I really appreciate your help!

Just gotta say, EMS who showed up for my leg treatment are real lifesavers!!!! It's a bad thing to have but by the time I got to the hospital I knew I wouldn't make it without them having worked so quickly! 5 members for moral support then I guess down to 2 to get registered in acute, deserving of a world of thanks!

Karen and Kaylee showed the upmost care to me during my interaction with them. Karen showed care and compassion to me and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Kaylee ensured that I was well medicated and moved me to the ambulance with no pain. These two ladies are fantastic practitioners, who go the extra mile.

When I needed an EKG the EMS were pricelessly there to help and so even though I had lost my patience their work at the time I so much thank them for being there when it was so important. Every moment they spent dealing with my issue so honestly the best observation I ever acquired from the EMS team, many many thanks.

The EMS that saved me are the two most valuable persons in EMS. It's a miracle that they were there to get me to hospital, in all future matters I'm very, very moved by their exceptional support and hard work.

On June 5 we called 811 to assess my Dad’s need or not to go to Emerg. The 811 person referred us to the service of Mobile Paramedics. I believe the attendant was named Brenda. She was so kind, gentle, respectful and thorough with my Dad. She assessed he needed Emerg and went in. We would like to thank Brenda for her kindness to our Dad.

My mom would like to express thanks to the paramedics that cared for my dad June 13th, he was transported to South Health Campus Emergency around 1130pm She said he was well taken care of and the paramedics were kind and professional. We appreciate all you do.

To the paramedics who helped me 18 years ago when I was 6 years old after I got ran over by a truck in front of my school thank you. Your kindness and exemplary patient care is what led me to becoming a paramedic with BC Emergency Health Services. May all my patients, especially my pediatric patients, feel as safe as you made me feel that day.
