Thank you to the Chestermere Fire Department and the metro Calgary medics who not only kindly cared for my mom but also helped carry her safely out of her home. They were all respectful and kind. My mom is immobile and morbidly obese, and these first responders were skillful and respectful with how they got her out of the house. Thank you!

On April 10 I called 911 because I was having a hard time breathing due to a diagnosed blood clot in my lung. Paramedics Chad and Scott arrived to help me. I was very upset and afraid. I want to express my sincere thanks for the way they calmed me down. They were so very gentled and kind. I felt safe with them. I commend their care toward me.

I called EMS early Sunday morning from the Holiday Inn hotel. I was really unwell and they took me to Airdrie Urgent Care. I was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and had surgery same day at Foothills Hospital. I live in Lethbridge so had no help and really appreciated their kindness. The dr told me it could've been fatal if I'd waited. Thank you!

Just want to express my gratitude for the awesome work my paramedics did today. They arrived at my place quick to check on me. They were super nice and made me feel very comfortable. One of the names was Brian who took good care of me in the back. His partner was great as well.

Connor and Trevor, paramedics with Calgary Emerg, treated me for an Afib-like condition on Thursday April 4, 2024. They fixed my condition in the ambulance and made sure that I was with someone when leaving me. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!🥰

I wish I could remember both of your names. Nikki and Nikki's awesome partner. You two were the coolest Paramedics I've ever interacted with. You were both so kind, informative, professional, funny and you made me feel very comfortable and safe. I don't know how you do the job you do but thanks for being you!!

I've had to call on EMS a few times for my parents. I just want to say thank you. I'm so grateful that people like you are there to help. Your job is truly important but very stressful and difficult. You see people at their worst but still make them smile and make a difference in their lives. Thank you for all you do.

I want to pass on my special THANKS to the team that responded to my 911 call. Unfortunately, I don't recall their names. They were very quick responding, the team were very polite, knowledgeable and efficient. The 911 operator was very helpful getting pertinent information and immediate action we needed to take. Thanks again.

I was very sick and had stomach issues. Connor and his partner attended my home and provided me with such great care. Connor is passionate about his career and has found his purpose. He was calming and reassuring and didn't make me feel rushed. He has great energy and I'm very blessed that he attended my call. Thank you

On Thursday, March 14, I called the ambulance for my husband. I could hardly believe how quickly they responded. They arrived in about 4 minutes and they were the nicest, most helpful and efficient pair. Kudos to Virginia and Richard. Thank you so much for your kindness and care of my husband. We really do appreciate you both.

I just wanted to say thank you to the Grande Prairie EMS for their amazing response time and holding my hand while I got stitches in my hand due to my negligence while operating a power tool. You guys are amazing and very thoughtful ❤️ it was a very good first ambulance ride and experience for sure! I probably wouldn't have a thumb thanks to you.

Last Sunday I called paramedics to come to our home for our adult son. He is an alcoholic and had stopped drinking about 30 hours. The paramedics were Heather and Adam, and I have to say are amazing care givers. They were at our home about an hour, and in the end our son did not have to go to the ER. Thank you, Heather.

In August '23 paramedics saved my life. I had collapsed from a PE. In the ambulance on the way to RVGH I had a heart attack. I don't remember any of this and I never got to 'meet' any of you, but I want you all to know how often I think of you and how grateful I am for how you saved my life. At 35 I never imagined I would need you. THANK YOU

Just wanted to say thanks to Paramedics Sam and Olivi who came out to take care of my mum, early morning of 12th Mar 2024. They were absolutely amazing. They made sure my mum got her hearing aids in as soon as possible and really assured her at every step.

Thank you so much to the team that attended a fatal incident, Feb 20th,2024, when my best friend passed away in my living room from a Type 1 Diabetic reaction (perhaps with complications). The team was quick, very capable, informative, and kind. My most sincere thanks to these professionals.

EMTs responded to a call when an agency helper for me fell on the ice while going to get my mail. The EMTs not only treated the helper with genuine care and concern, they offered to get my mail for me and drop a letter in the post box. They went well beyond their duties and I am so grateful to them.

I crashed my car a year ago, I got a pretty gnarly concussion. While waiting for EMS, I sat in a firetruck due to being cold, and talked to a firefighter about what I was planning after High school and now I'm planning to go to Uni. The PCPs were lovely, and the student with them had some pretty great teachers. I want to work in healthcare now.

I want to say a big thank you to the paramedics who responded to an accident I was in on Highway 3 near Cowley Alberta. My memory is spotty, but I know that without you and your call to STARS that I would not be here. After 10 days in the Foothills Trauma unit, I was released to finish my recovery at home. I feel very fortunate.

I've never saved anyone's life. I've never seen anyone injured and knew their survival was in my hands. These men and women do it every day. I don't remember them. Don't remember my car crash. Don't know how to really thank them. But I do know that I am only here because of their skill, speed, and willingness to do a job that I never could.
