Thank you to Fiona and the team who helped me when I was in some of the worst pain I've ever felt. Everyone was so wonderful, but through my pain haze, Fiona was the one that really stuck out. Her kindness and humour kept me calm and reassured. I felt truly supported at such a vulnerable time.

Hello,
My mother-in-law (Mary) who is 94 years old had a fall at Virginia Park Seniors residence (March 12,2025) and hit her head on the floor.
I would like to submit a commendation for the two wonderful EMS paramedics who attended to her needs. Both of these women showed deep concern and care for her wellbeing. Thank you

Laura and Ashley were lovely and kind. I could not breathe and the virus attacking my lungs was causing panic for me. Laura sat by me and was delightful. I found out she was from London, UK.
Ashley drove us to the hospital in what seemed like a few minutes. EMS has a treasure in these two young ladies. Thank you, Laura and Ashley.

On January 30, 2025, my mother passed away.
Mom was suffering with Alzheimer's, and I did have a DNR on her.
I understand that mom was unconscious when paramedics arrived and someone had to foresight to ask if there was a DNR. She went quickly and peacefully, because of this action.
Thank you â¤ï¸

Thank you to the wonderful Calgary paramedics who helped my mother. She could not breathe due to a bronchial spasm caused by severe pneumonia. It was an incredibly scary situation for her, and our family is so grateful for the care she received. She has said they were incredible and saved her life. Please pass on our sincere thanks!

On December 12, at 15 weeks pregnant, my water broke. I called 911, and two male paramedics arrived. Pilani, one of them, reassured me there was no judgement and explained everything calmly. He kept me calm during a stressful time, and his support made a huge difference. I'll always be grateful for his care.

On Tuesday February 4th, approximately 1015 am I was privileged to have the Mobile Stroke Ambulance attend to me. As a result of the competence and caring, I have no impairments of any nature given how quickly I received the clot buster. Thank you. I will do what I can to raise stroke awareness and to encourage funding for extending this service

I have become quite accustomed to paramedics after my heart attack eight years ago. So, I have come across quite a few back in my province of BC. Taylor attended to me a few days ago in Edmonton. She left such a sweet and remarkable impression for her kind understanding of my worries and situation. Thank you to Taylor and Mike!

I was helped by two paramedics after the birth of my son for a retained placenta. Both paramedics were fantastic and helped get me to the hospital quickly with the support of our midwives. I really want to say thank you to them and let them know that both baby boy and I are recovering well, thanks in part to their support!

I can't thank the paramedics who came to help my daughter yesterday. Both Jasmine and Shaylin were not only very well informed, but they were extremely nice and comforting to us. They took amazing care of my daughter from the time they arrived to the time they left us at the hospital. I am so thankful for them. God bless them.

On January 1, 2023, I took a fall on ice, and I've never had a chance to thank the responding EMS. It has been a journey that I don't think even they knew was happening since they saved my life. I broke my wrist, shoulder and four ribs and 19 days in the hospital for abdominal draining. Thank youâ¤ï¸
