To Janic (I think, but I may have misheard your name) of my 3 medic crew. You asked my pronouns and shared yours. I felt less alone. I was scared, sad, and anxious — you were so kind, genuine, and made me feel so safe. I truly felt looked after, seen, and not alone. Thank you.

My thank you may be a bit different than the usual as I did not receive medical care. I had just returned from a work trip did not even realize I had lost my wallet at the RO Centre. It was found by an EMS Crew from 42, and they went all out to get this wallet back to me. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to Doug!

I had 2 paramedics come to my home on the night of March 30, 2025. If it wasn't for them and 2 police officers, I wouldn't be here to write this note right now. I don't know their names but I'm sure you can find out. Tell them I said Thank you so much for keeping me alive. I will always be grateful for the time that they gave to me.

Wanted to give a shoutout to the ems crew from Lacombe covering for Ponoka today at approximately 2pm (April 22nd). My 2-year-old was admiring their ambulance when they asked if he wanted to see the lights on. We went out to their ambulance and they turned the lights on and let him see the back of it. Definitely made his day!

I wanted to say thankyou to all the Community Paramedics who have come to Pemmican Lodge (an independent seniors lodge) over the past 18 months. The service they have provided is amazing and the time they spend with the seniors is invaluable in so many ways. The residents feel heard and are spoken to in a way they can understand. Thankyou, Patty

Last week, I had the misfortune to need the services an ambulance. At that time, I had the great good fortune to be assigned A43 and A38, and their crew of consummate professionals. The young women were caring, considerate, and reassuring. They helped turn what could have been a very bad day into a pleasant memory (as much as such things can be)

I wanted to thank St. Albert PCP Suzanna and Steven for the exceptional care they provided to my mom, Maria after a fall in a parking lot. Not only did they provide excellent care, but they also thought of all the little details like making sure her car was locked. I think you went above and beyond, and it didn't go unnoticed.

A huge thank you to paramedics Shelley and Leanne who responded to our call for help on March 31. My 95-year-old Mom needed medical attention. Shelley and Leanne were polite, compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and immediately put my mother at ease. Shelley even returned to the ER later to check on her. Incredible ladies

Just wanted to hop on and say thank you! Not for what you did for me but for everyone else. Get the scene asap, put in your all to help the patient and help us stay calm. My accident was back in 2023, but I just found this. So, to the Sylvan EMS who was there that day I got hit by a car. Thank you. It's a tough but rewarding job.

Zane and Marin thank you for coming to our assistance this week. My husband had a profuse dental bleed while on anticoagulants. You stopped it, calmed him down with good natured banter and settled him to bed. Thank you so much. AHS and your parents must be so proud of you both. Thanks for helping us during a frightening episode. Keep up your good work!

In October 2023, I called 911 during a suicide attempt, and EMS Cara was incredibly supportive, compassionate and understanding. She was an active listener who provided the care I desperately needed during one of the hardest moments of my life. To this day, I still think about her and the kindness she showed me when I needed it most.

The clock had just rolled past midnight into March 6 and I was experiencing severe pain. We made the call for help. In short order two paramedics were here and started their assessment and treatment. I was in such a state of discomfort that while I can't recall their names, I do remember their compassion and skill. Thank you hardly covers it!

My 83 year old Dad had a fall. Mom called 911, and 2 male paramedics came to his aid. During their exams, they thought they saw something strange with his heart so decided to take him to hospital.
We now have a diagnosis that no one would have known about if you had not taken him in.
Thank you for allowing me to have my Dad longer!

On Friday March 7th, 2025, my mother A. Petruk was transported from Shepherds Care Millwoods to the Grey Nuns Hospital. When I got to the hospital, Jesse and Codie were there caring for mom in the off load of the Emergency. They were both so caring and empathetic, not only to my mom but to me as well. I would like to Thank them

I'd like to send out Kudos to the EMS team that came and helped out my husband last night. They rehydrated him and got his sugar back up. We finally got some sleep last night and he is a lot better this morning. I offered them chocolate but they declined. So Thank you so much, you guys are the BEST.
