On June 5 we called 811 to assess my Dad’s need or not to go to Emerg. The 811 person referred us to the service of Mobile Paramedics. I believe the attendant was named Brenda. She was so kind, gentle, respectful and thorough with my Dad. She assessed he needed Emerg and went in. We would like to thank Brenda for her kindness to our Dad.

To the paramedics who helped me 18 years ago when I was 6 years old after I got ran over by a truck in front of my school thank you. Your kindness and exemplary patient care is what led me to becoming a paramedic with BC Emergency Health Services. May all my patients, especially my pediatric patients, feel as safe as you made me feel that day.

Many thanks to the threeperson EMS crew (one ACP, two PCPs) who attended and assessed my wife with low blood sugar. Calmed her down, checked her glucose meter and blood sugar and gave advice on how to deal with the situation in future. They were professional, thorough, knew their stuff and really helped when she was scared.

Thankyou to Jeff (paramedic) and his EMS colleague's tonight to help get my palliative in the community comfortable. She had high symptom burden and your care and compassion to her situation has not gone unnoticed. Jeff and the team helped navigate the best way to manage her care at home looking at the "whole" picture. Thankyou so much!

I am so grateful to 3 wonderful paramedics (Ashley, Lauren, and Connor) who got me to the Foothills Hospital in life saving time! Without your quick actions and medical care on the way to Foothills, I would not be writing this thank you! Feel proud knowing that you are needed and respected in our community.

Thank you Robin and Candy. Robin’s compassion for a geriatric patient who has required hydration therapy and antiemetic medication multiple times this week. Robin’s foresight to coordinate the initiation of ongoing primary care management of my mother’s dehydration is so appreciated.

Thank you to the 2 wonderful paramedics who came to my home to help me when I dislocated my knee. It was just after midnight and they were there under 10 minutes. I was not an easy patient as my pain took over. One of you just made a simple gesture of holding my hand and trying to reassure me, it was appreciated! You are truly amazing people.
